Steve Hackett may be best known asbeing the lead guitarist for arguably one of the most important progressive rock bands ever, Genesis. Hackett joined the band in 1971 playing on the Nursery Cryme album. Hackett stayed with the band through 1977playing on five more albums; Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound, Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, A Trick of the Tail and Wind & Wuthering. Rolling Stone has voted Hackett as number 55in the top 100 guitarists.
Starting on April 22, 2019 and ending on November 29th Steve Hackett will begin a tour that will include 31 shows in 17 countries. Hackett will be playing songs from his album Spectral Mornings (40th anniversary) and some of a new album to be released this year. In addition Hackett will be playing one of Genesis’s most successful albums, Selling England by the Pound.
The Cleveland Masonic Theater will host Steve and his band on October the 2nd at 7:30. Band members for the tour include:

In addition to Steve’s tour he is releasing a live album. The album was recorded on 5th October 2018 at The Royal Festival Hall, London, during the 2018 Genesis Revisited Tour which fulfilled a long held ambition of Steve’s: to perform the music of Genesis with a live orchestra. The concert featured Steve’s regular touring band of Roger King (keyboards), Gary O’Toole (drums/percussion), Rob Townsend (saxes/flutes) with Nad Sylvan on vocals and Jonas Reingold (The Flower Kings) on bass, together with special guests John Hackett and Amanda Lehmann, and augmented by the 41-piece Heart Of England Orchestra conducted by Bradley Thachuk.
