Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Darrell Scott, who began playing professionally in his teens, is one of country music’s top tunesmiths and one of Nashville’s premier session players. He has written top hits by country music royalty such as Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Travis Tritt and the Dixie Chicks, and is an amazingly versatile player – proficient on guitar, dobro, banjo, piano, pedal steel, mandolin and more.
Scott has collaborated with dozens of artists, including Emmylou Harris, Sam Bush, Tim O’Brien, Guy Clark and Steve Earle – and has contributed to scores of records as a session man and producer.
Since 1997, he has released a string of acclaimed solo albums, the most recent being 2016’s Couchville Sessions.
