The 7X GRAMMY® winner released an unexpected, brand-new track, “Everything.” The infectious tune was penned by TobyMac. “Everything” follows “I just need U.” which marked TobyMac’s biggest single in six years soaring quickly to the top of the radio charts and Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs Chart.
TobyMac is (was?) also part of Christian rock/rap powerhouse DC TALK, who went on an indefinite hiatus in 2001 (hopefully to return one day). Along with Michael Tait and Kevin Max Smith. They released five major studio albums together: DC Talk (1989), Nu Thang (1990), Free at Last (1992), Jesus Freak (1995), and Supernatural (1998). In 2002, the Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music called DC Talk “the most popular overtly Christian act of all time.”
All seats are reserved and priced at $99.50, $69.50, $49.50, $29.50 or $20.
Tickets are subject to additional fees and are available in person at the Akron Civic Theatre box office, by box office phone at 330.253.2488, all Ticketmaster outlets, or online, below:
