During their lengthy recording career, the band has released eight studio albums, one live album, two EPs, and three cover albums.
Emerging as part of the second wave of pop punk in the late 1990s, music critics consider them a key pioneer of the genre. Labeled the “godfathers of pop punk”, AllMusic credits them for “practically serving alongside the work of Blink-182 as the blueprint to the entire genre for the early 2000s.” Also renowned for their energetic live performances, the band has garnered a cult following since their inception.
The band has been pleasing fans with tunes like “My Friends Over You,” “Hit or Miss,” and covers including Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me.”
New Found Glory are set to release their ninth studio album, ‘Makes Me Sick,’ due out April 28th via Hopeless Records. The album was produced by Aaron Sprinkle (MxPx, Anberlin, Acceptance) and mixed by Tom Lord Alge (U2, The Rolling Stones, Blink 182). The first single, “Happy Being Miserable,” was released on February 16. The album is currently available for pre-order.
Hailing from the mighty UK, opening act Trash Boat released their debut album, ‘Nothing I Write You Can Change What You’ve Been Through’ on June 17th, 2016. The album, which was produced by The Wonder Years front man Dan “Soupy” Campbell and is now available.
