Jerry Seinfeld

America’s premier comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, will be performing his signature stand-up routine at the beautiful Akron Civic Theatre on March 14, 2018!

Seinfeld has been hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that relate to audiences everywhere. Seinfeld now sets his sights on performing both nationally and internationally in 2014.

Seinfeld’s latest project, ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ originated as a web-only series that is now available on Netflix! Episodes follow a format of Mr. Seinfeld introducing a vintage car, picking up the guest comedian, and taking them out to have coffee or to a restaurant. Guests have included Jay Leno, Alec Baldwin, Sarah Silverman, David Letterman, Tina Fey, and many others.

Mr. Seinfeld starred in the commercial blockbuster and cultural phenomenon television show, ‘Seinfeld.’ In 2002, TV Guide named Seinfeld the greatest television program of all time. In 1997, the episodes “The Boyfriend” and “The Parking Garage” were respectively ranked numbers 4 and 33 on TV Guide’s 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time, and in 2009, “The Contest” was ranked #1 on the same magazine’s list of TV’s Top 100 Episodes of All Time. E! named it the “number 1 reason the ’90s ruled.” In 2013, the Writers Guild of America named Seinfeld the No. 2 Best Written TV Series of All Time (second to The Sopranos). As of June 2014, the series has earned $4 billion in worldwide revenue, making it the second most lucrative show in television history.

Seinfeld is known for specializing in observational humor, often focusing on personal relationships and uncomfortable social obligations. In 2005, Comedy Central ranked Jerry Seinfeld 12th out of 100 as the greatest comedians of all time in its five-part special The 100 Greatest Standups of All Time.
