A Live Conversation with John Cusack plus a screening of High Fidelity
It’s a rare occasion that a famous movie personality decides to not only show one of his most famous movies but, also, to be available for questions and comments afterward.
John Cusack is doing just that at the Civic Theatre on Saturday, February 16, 2019. There will be a screening of one of Cusack’s most well-known films, High Fidelity, which was released in 2000. The story chronicles a record shop owner (Cusack) who is trying to find love and to find out what happened in his former relationships. The issues are explored through over 70 songs and features Jack Black in one of his first pivotal roles. Cusack is also known for his roles in Say Anything, Con Air, Grosse Pointe Blank and, most notably, in the film Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, in which he played a journalist from New York City, John Kelso, investigating a murder amid the unusual customs in Savannah, GA.
After the screening of High Fidelity, Cusack will be available for questions regarding the film and his career. This is an event not to be missed and most likely never to be replicated.
All seats are reserved and priced at $150, $69.75, $59.75, or $49.75. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Akron Civic Theatre box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, or online, below:
